ESA Statutes

As indicated in the ESA Statutes, the European Seed Association - ESA - has been created as International Non-Profit Association. To this Association, the provisions of chapter III of the Belgian law of 27 June 1921, on Non Profit Associations, on International Non Profit Associations and on Foundations apply.

Anti-Trust Guidelines

ESA as an association, as well as each of its members, is responsible for complying with anti-trust rules and for ensuring that its employees respect and are aware of their obligations under such antitrust rules. In order to remind members of the rules under which meetings should take place, ESA adopted Anti-Trust Guidelines that contain the most basic principles to be respected under antitrust law.

Code of Conduct

Members of ESA are working in full compliance with applicable laws and are expecting all actors of the seed market to follow these rules in commercial activities. In order to further promote a business environment where the players manifest mutual respect and act according to the applicable rules ESA adopted a General Code of Conduct

Prevention of child labour in the seed sector 

The European seed sector strongly rejects child labour. ESA adopted a position paper advising its members not to employ children within their company organisations.
