New video release for the International Day for Biological Diversity

Today May 22 is the International Day for Biological Diversity 2017. Proclaimed by the United Nations, this day aims to increase understanding and awareness of biodiversity issues.

Last year, on this day, ESA launched the video 'Biodiversity - a legacy for the future' (in English) to help understand why biodiversity is important for farmers and the whole of society and what role plant breeders play to preserve and create biodiversity. The video also invites the viewer to explore how the seed industry takes its share in biodiversity conservation and benefit-sharing:

This year we are glad to announce that some national seed associations have decided to translate the video in their language to reach out to even more people in their country.
The French and Italian versions have just been launched today and more are coming!
